Sean Keelor lives for one thing, to hate ISU and all it stands for. He is obsessed with his dislike for ISU. Anything positive for the Cyclones is negative for him. He mocks Fred and Jamie, and our school for taking positive strides. He mocks our facilities, our coaches. His blog making fun of Fred should be music to an Iowa State fans ears. If he didn't feel threatened, he say it's a great hire.

And he is stupid enough to think "his take" against ISU enhances the Rag's distribution in central Iowa. No wonder newspapers are losing market.

I think I'm the only person on this board who actually likes Keeler most of the time.
You guys do understand that he is an sports columnist right? Not a paid PR writer for Iowa State University?
I'm only half-joking when I ask those questions. Everytime he writes something that is even mildly critical of Iowa State people inevitably come on here yelling "Oh, he hates Iowa State! He's the worst writer I've ever seen! AAAAHHHHHH!!!!" The reaction is as regular and consistent as sunrise.
And to be honest, I have a lot of the same concerns that he brings up. For how great Fred Hoiberg was as a player, he has not coached a SINGLE GAME. Of course, now I'm sure that I'll be accused of "not being a real fan" and "hating Iowa State".
Re: If Keeler liked the hire...then I'd be worried.
If we know one thing about Keeler's track record, it's that he wasn't going to like the hire no matter what, even if the guy that was hired was Izzo or Coach K...
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.
