    Re: ESPN blog on Hoiberg

I look at it this way:

Coach K learned how to coach from Bobby Knight.

Roy Williams learned how to coach from Dean Smith.

Fred Hoiberg has learned how to coach from Johnny Orr and Larry Brown.

Greg McDermott learned to coach from....?

    Re: ESPN blog on Hoiberg

Fred doesn't fail. ISU and its fans aren't going to let that happen, either.

I agree with something from Miller and Deace this morning. They mentioned that he'll get concessions that someone else wouldn't get. Donors will pony up for Hoiberg in ways they wouldn't for somebody else. There's nobody that won't want to get behind our guy, because he's our guy.

Congrats to CrossCyed for getting his blog linked to ESPN.com

I swear the guy who wrote that blog is the same guy who has been sending me all those phishing e-mails that he is holding $10 million dollars for me and all I have to do is send him my name, address, SS number, and banking information.

Pretty sure I was implying about the heights of Hoiberg's ceiling every time I mention that if he's successful here ISU basketball is set for the next quarter century...

I wasn't talking about ISU fans. I was talking about the media types...ya know, the ones that know everything.

    Agree!
Imagine for a second if Fred is actually successful at ISU! He was already a Cyclone legend....
