Isn't it a bit ironic; perhaps sad is a better word, that Shatel gets it, but Keeler is oblivious to the hiring of Fred?

I like this guy...someone outside of the Nation finally understands and gets the hire.
My thing is this...do you think that Freddy would be any better at coaching if he went to a sluff mid-major and got his feet wet for 1-2 or even 3 years? I really think that if you know the game and can express to your players what you are thinking, I really think time served may be over rated!! Everyone says how smart he is...you can't tell me that with all the time that he spent in the Association, around all of the great basketball minds, that he didn't learn from them(Larry Brown, Larry Bird, Kevin McHale) the list is long AND distinguished. Everyone praised Cale when he was hired...is there REALLY a difference?
