Put it on, how many interpretations of Dendy's status were there and what about the Staiger status and Hamilton comment.
To me, Facebook is for people that I personally know and want to keep in touch with. It's mostly family and friends. Some people are a little closer to the acquaintance side, mostly high school classmates who I haven't seen in 20 years.
I use Twitter more anonymously. I follow people I don't know but are generally public figures. I only follow 2-3 people that I know on Twitter.
With that type of use, following people like ISU athletes on Twitter is OK. By default, you can follow anyone without their acceptance. Friending people that you don't know on Facebook is creepy. By default, you have to ask for and be accepted as their friend.
This thread is awesome, anyone who creates a thread based off of pure speculation of some thoughts on a facebook status is a complete *******
That thread last night was awful. I don't care if you bring something that a player says on Facebook or Twitter into this board as long as it is definitive. Stalk away if they say "I'm Leaving". When they say something vague that can be interpreted 1,000,000 different ways...leave it alone.
There already is a Facebook Stalker Forum, it's called the ISU MBB social group and can be found by clicking on Social Groups at the top of the page.
So did anyone see Todd McDermott's latest tweets today? Do we need to add a tweeter forum as well?
