Noreen actually ruptured his spleen in the state championship game. This article doesn't make that clear, but that's the case.

He ruptured his spleen in the championship game and practiced with a flak jacket. He decided the risk of playing wasn't worth it."
Rebounds, steals and blocks are exactly what I like about his stats, though 15 pts in an all-star game isn't bad. I like those stats because they reflect hustle, quickness, energy and desire, all of which you need on the defensive end.
