Sure has been quiet
regarding assistant coaching candidates. Has anyone heard anything of substance? With the focus on recruits about over for the signing period, I would think Coach H would have a few in the pipeline.

Re: Sure has been quiet
Personally, I am enjoying the fact that with the coaching change info is a bit hard to get right now. Let FH do his job and I'm sure we will be hearing some news over the next couple weeks.

Re: Sure has been quiet
I'm enjoying the quiet after all the noise. We're reaching the point where the offseason is quiet, and I like it a lot.

Re: Sure has been quiet
It will be a seasoned former head coach. One has been offered. We'll see if he accepts.

Most know who that is. I wonder who the other position will go to.

Any clues on who it is? Lutz?

Re: Sure has been quiet
FH has to wait until the NBA Playoffs are over before he announces that he's hired Phil Jackson and Doc Rivers as our new assistants! -

Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

Beekeeper 1: Well, sure is quiet in here today. Beekeeper 2: Yes, a little too quiet, if you know what I mean. Beekeeper 1: Hmm... I'm afraid I don't. Beekeeper 2: You see, bees usually make a lot of noise. No noise - suggests no bees! Beekeeper 1: Oh, I understand now.
[a bee flies by] Beekeeper 1: Oh look, there goes one now. Beekeeper 2: To the Beemobile! Beekeeper 1: You mean your Chevy? Beekeeper 2: [pause] Yes.

A couple of more important questions:
1) Are you the new program insider in the FH era?
2) Do you have your driver's license yet?

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes. -
Re: Sure has been quiet
I'm glad it's been quiet. This Fred hire has brought out some absolute stupidity at CF. i.e. "maybe we could get Jared Homan to help with big men". I say maybe we could hire Big Vic to help recruit overweight big men in the state of Michigan.

Re: Sure has been quiet
Lutz would be good, I think. I know nothing about him except what I've read. I like that he was at Charlotte for a long time. He was pretty successful record wise. There was an article by someone saying that Clemson should take a lookt at him and this was even after he was fired.
I wonder what the connection is? Is he a friend of Floyd's? You do kind of wonder what would make someone come here to be an assistant after spending so much time in North Carolina.
