Nebraska is a huge outlier. Not just b/c other programs are better, but you usually don't see Doc getting dirty with the coaches known to get a little dirty....if you know what I mean

Perhaps Doc is feeling some pressure which is probably well deserved for him, unfortunately.

Re: Emmanuel Negedu
Why is it that every time someone transfers, their is a thread on here talking about us getting him? How many transfers come to ISU? 1 in the last 10 years? And he came from a mid-major school. Not dis crediting Marquette, but come on.

Re: Emmanuel Negedu
Marquette is in no way shape or form a mid major(Big East). Alex Thompson transfered from Iowa. I am sure plenty more have as well...

Just the ones that at one point were recruited/interested.
I'm on Twitter too: Tre4ISU
Or so I have read. -

Re: Emmanuel Negedu
Hate to play the "what if" card....
Obviously Nagedu suffered a heart attack and had to be revived (no pulse, he was dead).Tennessee and other schools will not or have not cleared him to play for their school due to his elevated risk.
Is this a case where ISU or other schools should just let this young adult do what he wants to do or should the schools continue to look out for what is best for this person? This could very well be a life and death situation/decision..... Sometimes you gotta give up your dream and understand your health is way more important (BTDT).
If he transferred to ISU (or any school) and suffered another heart attack and could NOT be revived, would you want ISU to be known for that (for years to come)? If this were to happen, imagine how possible recurits and their familes would think. . . Does ISU look out for the intrest of my child or does the coaches/university only care about themself?
I don't care if Nagedu has the talent of Labron James and Kobe Bryant, I care about his health not what he could do as a athlete for ISU.
Remember, Nagedu suffered a heart attack, he is a greater risk for another one than someone who has not suffered one...

If the system has superior offensive talent to make up for the shoody defense, it can work like it did at LMU and with the Phoenix team in the WNBA.
