He'll be an assistant. Great move my FG IMO. The ops director can't recruit and Grayer will have those Flint, Mich. ties. No point in keeping him off the recruiting trail.

Chris-is that for certain? There has been talk of many scenarios but the one most often heard is that there will be two administrators (Rutter and Grayer) and then a bench staff.
Grayer is best utilized in this role IMO. His connections are still in play and we are not shortchanged experience on the bench.

No Kidding. I didn't think that he had it in him to have concerns about the basketball program. I guess this further proves his man crush on GMAC and the good news for us is that we will actually have more unbiased conversations on this board if it continues from him! Way to go KG!!!

In terms of the actual coaching...Mac and Rutter did most of it. DRob and TJ did the recruiting. Maybe they plan to use Rutter for coaching...which could very well be, I don't know.
