He'll be an assistant. Great move my FG IMO. The ops director can't recruit and Grayer will have those Flint, Mich. ties. No point in keeping him off the recruiting trail.

I thought the idea was to get a couple guys with more experience in there...

Good move for recruiting, but the actual "coaching" is becoming more of a concern.

So now we are looking at just one assistant instead of two, correct?

One solid ex-head coach would fill out the staff nicely.

FH will bring in a great pick for the last spot.

Perhaps this choice will shed a new light on the former team organization.

Chris-is that for certain? There has been talk of many scenarios but the one most often heard is that there will be two administrators (Rutter and Grayer) and then a bench staff.

Grayer is best utilized in this role IMO. His connections are still in play and we are not shortchanged experience on the bench.

No Kidding. I didn't think that he had it in him to have concerns about the basketball program. I guess this further proves his man crush on GMAC and the good news for us is that we will actually have more unbiased conversations on this board if it continues from him! Way to go KG!!!

In terms of the actual coaching...Mac and Rutter did most of it. DRob and TJ did the recruiting. Maybe they plan to use Rutter for coaching...which could very well be, I don't know.

    Come on...what?
