He'll fit in any offense. Remember, he's a sophomore in high school right now. Most 7 footers as sophomores can't even walk in a straight line. Kohler and Mcdermott are both Division One athletes. I wouldn't quite say "dominated" either. Was he outplayed? Yes, but he still held his own.
I guess we'll see....though he was always the last down the floor...actually he reminds me of Ham in high school physically...never saw Ham play HS so not gonna make a judgement of their games.
Because he is a high school sophomore. How many kids are 16 and 7 feet tall?!? Barely any. When they are that young they still haven't grown into their body and they aren't as coordinated as they will be a couple years down the road.
The kid is 7 feet tall and has good skills for a 16 year old. Can't teach height and thus the big time offers that are about to come his way
Height isn't everything....I think you know that but just saying.
Says this kid is 7ft lefty? and plays for east high? Does anyone have any information on this kid? how interested is he? talent level etc?
Seems like he could be a beast if we land him. a 7 footer is never a bad thing on a roster. He is class of 2012, which the class of 2012 could be way better then 2011 if we start signing people.
He's not 7 ft yet. i have seen him play and he still has some growing to d, but hes not a 7 footer yet. Pretty skinny but will beef up, cannot shoot outside of 8, 9, 10 feet though. Very awkward player like most skinny, tall white guys but hes only a sophmore so we'll c
He is 7 foot tall and averaged 17 and 12 as a sophomore in 4A!!!! The 7 footer from Davenport West (Nate Wells) will prolly get a D1 ride and he averaged 6 and 5 as a junior. I think most of us understand that you are recruiting a kid to START playing 2 and a half years from now and play for 4 years after that.
He will be offered by most Big X and Big XII schools. He will be paid to play basketball when he is done with college. Yes I have seen him play. Yes I have been in the same gym with him and more than a dozen high major coaches in summer basketball events.
