That would be Mr. Hand (he's my favorite martian).

Re: I am hearing
Maybe Nee can help land another Tyronn Lue, Jaron Boone or Erick Strickland.

Re: I am hearing
I would be happy with this hire.
The guy was a HEAD COACH at a B8/B12 school for 14-15 yrs and he isn't good enough for an asst job? That is some narrow minded thinking right there.

Re: I am hearing
I have no idea if Nee would be good or not, but we need to seriously lower our expectations folks.
We are looking for an assistant coach, basically our #3 guy behind Hoiberg and TJ. Getting a guy with a lot of BCS conference head coaching experience is not too shabby, no matter who he is. We are not going to get the caliber of coach that most on here think we can land for an assistant coaching position. Sorry.

Re: I am hearing
I heard Lefty Moore recently.
I'll take a Jack & Hilton -

Re: I am hearing
The guy's role is to help smooth the way in managing a program, right?
I don't have a problem with Danny Nee. Though I'd like Tom Davis more -

This position is going to be extremely hard to fill. Think about the requirements that we have to have---
1. Former head coach
2. Good X's and O's guy
3. Someone who is willing to teach a guy that has never coached. This assistant won't get much of the credit if (or WHEN) we are successful.
4. Someone that won't mind if he doesn't have the associate head coach title.
5. Someone that is willing to come for the type of money that we can pay.

I think it would be great for a coach that might have just been let go and wants to stay in the game. there should be plenty of options right there. He really only needs to be here 1.5/2 years til Fred gets his feet wet and goes through a few 2 seasons. Lutz would have been perfect.

Re: I am hearing
The incomming coach will need to gain respect of players and incomming recruits. not sure the cussing like a sailor will work with Hoiberg.
