I think it is just a matter of where right now......1st round or 2nd. The announcers on the show were pretty complimentary of him. Hope his combine goes well.

Is Gilstrap there too? Does anyone know?

they said some great things about him and that a team will be lucky that gets him in the 1st round

I don't think Gilstrap is there. They already did the SF and I didn't see him.

Ok. Just wondered, because I saw that the NBADraft.net thing had ranked as the 54th overall prospect, and rising now. Brackins was listed as 31st overall, and falling, which was surprising. WJ is listed as 3rd overall.

I know the money is better in the early part of the first round but if you were in Craigs spot wouldn't you rather go to a better team late in the first round. That is my thought anyway. He will eventually get paid for his performance.

I still hope the Trailblazers draft him but they probably won't. Unfortunately, his position is not one they really need.

What impressed me beyond his basketball abilities was his character. He was a stand-up guy. He took the blame when it was his to take (and sometimes even when it wasn't). He always worked hard. Even in his last game, after fouling out, he wasn't moping with a towel over his head. He was cheering from the sideline and giving advice during the timeout. Knowing how to be a team player is a big part of being in the NBA. Just look at the guys who are still playing in the playoffs (in starting positions) who you wouldn't walk across the street to watch based on their own abilities. Brackins may not be the next LeBron, but he is definitely the kind of guy who could have a nice NBA career, maybe even longer than lots of the lottery pick flameouts.

He does shoot from a high release position. He will be fine.

Who the heck is Aran Smith. Seriously? Dropping based on what? The fact that everyone else who has seen him at the combine thinks he is a steal in the 20 -30 range? Does this kid have any credentials?

He will get drafted, who cares.... He will not be anything in the NBA. Do you bring this up every day to make yourself feel better or what? But I guess I have basketball stupidity so from now on I will check with you for basketball knowledge.
