Per DMRAG, Chris Babb said Wednesday, “I don’t really want to go into why I left Penn State, but I’ll talk a lot about why I chose Iowa State. At Iowa State, I get a chance to play for a coach who knows about the NBA. I can’t wait to start working with him.”

9 pts a game, started 23 of 29 games as a SOPH., 6-5 shooting guard, supposedly lock down defender, very atheletic, highly touted coming out of HS, He's obviously a smart and mature kid. I've never heard a transfer talk about coming in to work with the young guys to teach them the ropes of bigtime D1 ball. A reporter asks him a question about why he left his previous school and he gives you the statement above. It is just my opinion, but ALL things point to him being a huge addition! Is all that funny?

I agree too, but according to many on here the public had a right to know exactly why Justin Hamilton was leaving, and the fact that he essentially lied to protect McD and possibly others was not good enough!!

We didn't have a right to know necessarily. He was also wrong in lying about it. He should have used the line that Babb did.

this is where wes j was taking shots at us, however this transfer isn't taking shots at penn state. It's nice.

Fred gets a year to work with the kids shooting, and that's huge. Getting shots off more quickly, better form etc.
