Exactly. I know in the womens hoops world we have a good team.. but its a totally separate thing.
Lots of people like ANYTHING related to ISU. Lots of people have no interest in womens hoops (especially your average student fan)

At this point in time, there is NO way you don't include our women's team for something like this.

The addition of a live auction smack in the middle, and having terrible event emcees (I'm looking at you, Van and Bonnie) killed it.
I'm glad that's gone.

And I'll still be there if the girls team plays, i'll just be bummed about it.

Over the years, it has gone downhill, but both the men and women were together. You aren't just going to start a big thing all over again and not include our women, who have one of the best programs in the nation going.

Re: Midnight Madness
It would be a huge slap in the face to the womens program if they were to be left out.

They need to improve a few notches before I'd call them a national power. In any case, I really think they need to bring something back to help fire up the MBB fans. Either a shootout or midnight madness would work for me.

They should have their own midnight maddness if it was going to be such a draw.
I would have no problem with that.
Why do they need to go along with the Men's program. Makes no sense, unless they can not make it work on their own and need to tag along.

Re: Midnight Madness
My opinion -- The women's team should absolutely be involved in something like this. No questions asked.

Re: Midnight Madness
With so many new faces on the teams, I think it would be a very good idea to put something together.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: Midnight Madness
Ok so if the women have to be included let's do something like this...
Introduce womens team, then men's team
Men get one half of the court and start doing drills, women on the other
3 point shootout
Men dunk contest
Men half court 3 on 3 (winner stays?) and women half court 3 on 3 at the same time
Men full court scrimmage
