Any word on a Noreen decision

The articles in the nespapers say that TJ and Fred are still recruiting, and one of their targets has been Kevin Noreen, who decommitted from BC earlier in the late siging period. I was not high on the need to sign him, but with Dendy leaving we could use another front line player. He doesn't fit the Dendy mold, but having 3 freshman and JVB, who doesn't really play in the post, is going to make next year even a longer season than anticipated.

I'm just gonna try and logic this one out since I don't know.

The newspapers say that the coaches are still recruiting.

One of their targets has been Noreen.

I'm going to go ahead and guess he hasn't made a decision if the coaches are still recruiting him.

Last week I asked the same thing and CW said that he doubted he ended up. That was before Dendy left, though.

Even so, an unofficial visit is not out of the question, due to our proximity. And the fact that we have offered a scholarship, he is regionally close, and we need interior players tells me our staff should still be working him. Heck, we have post on Carrick Felix getting more press than this, and our coaches may not even know how to spell that kids name, much less have any kind of evaluation on him.

I would guess that we are not going after Noreen to fill that scholarship. I think we bank it unless we get someone who transfer's in right away or a quality Euro.

Trust me...the staff has been following Carrick for a while now.
