Yeah, and some thought ISU mens basketball was going to be a "marquee" program after he left.:wideeyed:
Re: Wayne Morgan Hired at Hofstra
I wonder how many Wayne-haters will respond to this post complaining about how he is the worst coach ever in the history of college basketball.

Well, that didn't take long at all.....
Re: Wayne Morgan Hired at Hofstra
Congrats to Wayne. It's a shame after the McDermott debacle that people still take shots at Wayne. Keep holding that grudge.
Re: Wayne Morgan Hired at Hofstra
Good for Wayne. I'm somewhat amazed he stayed in Ames as long as he did. If I would have gotten dumped on as much ad he did here, I would have moved on long ago.
What a sad time it has been for ISU basketball over the last 10 years.

Syracuse connection conspiracy theories.
I see, not that I think there was any sort of conspiracy, but I see what you are saying.
Posts like that make me wonder if people somtimes intentionally go for dumbest post of the day.

I'm not trying to be snide here but I think he was selling his million dollar house and it might have taken a while.

Okay, we get it...you HATE Wayne Morgan, absolutely refuse to give him any sort of credit for anything good that he did at ISU (since you more or less demand that ISU make it to the Final Four every single season), and would probably beat him up if you could. With all that being written, why do you have such a seemingly personal grudge against him that you seem to wish nothing but misery upon him? What did he do? Beat you up and steal your lunch money in junior high?

I hope Dan get a head coaching job, if he wants one. But man after seeing that guy on the video, he looks happy, tan, and healthy now. Life as a Florida assistant certainly agrees with him, it seems. I clearly do not have the competitive nature of a coach because I'd stay with that assistant gig for the rest of my career.

ISU was still paying out his contract settlement up until a year or two ago and he had the huge house to unload.
