big 12 next year

can we honestly look and see us being in the bottom of the big 12 next season? no, we won't be good, but oklahoma has basically a completely new team with a 7 man recruiting class, nebraska is nebraska, we get tech at home next year..we will probably be within the bottom 10 but i dont see us dead last yet.

No, because there won't even be a Big 12 next year.. Now, if we're talking about the MAC or MWC, then the answer is still no.

Seriously, I don't think we'll be dead last, but I see us as probably the bottom 3 or 4 teams.

We only have two players left from last season and no one coming in that's better than a 3-star. Talent-wise, there's no doubt we're last in the conference. Sure, Oklahoma is in poor shape also, but they have some guys that were a little more highly recruited, like Cameron Clark.

maybe im drinking too much of the kool-aid already, but we get both oklahoma and tech at home. plus nebraska and colorado arent all that hot either, so we have a chance for a home win there. i really think that we wont get blown out this year, like last year (with exception to the KU and baylor games). i think that we can stay competitive, at least.

i think next year is gnna look a lot like last year record wise. might not have the same overall talent, but the big 12 will be down a bit from what it was last year.

Go ahead. I certainly don't see us as the least talented team, and our style will bring a much more definite home-court advantage.

We won't win the conference, we won't finish last. I think we can be a .500 team or just above, and get a nice surprise win along the way to building this thing back.

First, establish of a style of play that will excite the fans. In other words, play up-tempo.
Second, win the non-conference games that should be won. In other words, don't lose to a North Dakota school.
Third, beat Iowa. In other words, beat Iowa badly.
Fourth and last, fill Hilton.
It's all on Fred's shoulders. He has what it takes.

IMO... anything other than dead last will be one heckuva coaching job. It will be ugly.

I think a lot of people really underestimate how little we have?

people expect us to be worse then iowa last year but i really cannot see us being THAT bad. we will win more than 13 games next year, the sked will be much easier

No matter what anyone thinks of DG, it will definitely help to have the senior leadership at the point. I think we will surprise.

Without DG I would have absolutely no expectations for next season, with him I think we'll at least be fun to watch and have a signature win...like beating Kansas at home on a buzzer beater.

I will never write a season off before it even starts. You never never know. Stay optimistic and take one game at a time. The 9-year old little boy in me says we can win it all! Don't ever lose that! Go Cyclones!!!
