The latest on Royce White (6-4)

Here's the latest from my Royce White source concerning his interest with Iowa State.

I had heard rumblings that he'd be on campus today. That is not going to happen. In fact, I am starting to believe that this ship has sailed. Yesterday, I thought there was a 50-50 chance he'd end up at Iowa State.

Today, I'd drop that percentage down to about 10.

It could still happen, but don't count on it. I'll keep you updated with any updates I might get.

He hasn't and it is still up in the air if he will. It doesn't sound good though. It's not dead...but barely alive.

With all of his troubles, why would this be such a bad thing he wouldn't be coming here? We just got over a season with a team that couldn't get along and struggled on the court because of it. Why would we want to bring in another potential issue? Let's get the guys that will bond together as a team rather than just getting the most talented player out there regardless of personal issues.

RW isn't really a guy I'm that excited about. But the other talk makes me want CW on a vacation.

because guys that bond with no talent don't win games. Correct me if i'm wrong, but we haven't had a 5 start player playing for the good guys since fizer.
