This guy has tons of talent and it is good news if he is coming here. After a redshirt year at ISU he may come be a huge contributor.

I don't know what to think of him yet...ESPN has him ranked at #80 but he didnt even start in the MVC?? Hopefully there's more to the story!

Can't we just be glad he chose to come play at ISU? We still need some bodies.

Let's wait to see him play before we throw out the "oh, he must not be any good" card.

How many post players are big enough to contribute in their first two years at the college level? Not many, just the extreme talents out there.

This helps balance out the junior class in 2011-12 as well. Him and Babb are now the only two in there.

Started as people being excited about a player and then turned very negative pretty fast.

By the way...our center last year averaged pretty similar numbers while starting and playing more minutes.

I think that he could be a great player for Iowa State.

Also played at a high major school against other high major schools.

this is sooo true...he looks to be more athletic than Hamilton also...but then again we went 15-17.

So this only leaves us with 2 open scholarships for the fall signing period. I was hoping Hoiberg would use the fall signing period to go head-to-head against some of the national powers for highly rated guys (Chaisson Randle for instance). I hope we're not "settling" too early on some guys - particularly when the staff isn't complete yet.
