That would be a great fit for him, too, wouldn't it?

The Spurs would be an excellent team for CB. Pop might be the best coach in the game and gets more out of his players than anyone else. CB just keeps moving up in these projections.

He has a pretty good track record.

We know that CB has that ability. This would really be a great situation for CB.
Pop likes less heralded guys like Bonner, but CB is a much better athlete than Bonner and has a better inside game.

And he'd have a coach that could teach him the value of defense.

And he'd have a coach that could teach him the value of defense. Yeah, only concerns would be if Parker will be there long term, how many miles Duncan has left on him, and if Pop wants to stick around and coach a team that isn't a championship threat (if Duncan is wearing down of course).

That's a big thing to consider there.
I was going to respond earlier that the Spurs also saw their need to get younger, since they have a need there as well.
I guess maybe it does just depend on whether Pop wants to build again.

CB should change his name to Antonius Krevalaski and will be a shoe-in with my Spurs.

How's this for a little scenario...
Duncan, who may have a couple good years left in him, gets surrounded by an infusion of youth (CB?) and a veteran scorer (Joe Johnson?), to go with their stable of vets (TP & Ginobli), coupled with the fact that the best player in the game, Kobe, decides to go play in Europe for two years (wild I know). CB's career starts to emulates Horry's and he goes on to win seven rings.
If that sounds familiar, well, people thought Hakeem was wearing down and only had a few good years left in him, but Horry was drafted by the Rockets, who needed an infusion of youth (Cassell & Horry) to go along with their stable of vets (Otis Thorpe & Vernon Maxwell), and added Drexler while trying to repeat while the best player in the game spent the better part of two years toiling in baseball. Horry of course played for winners the rest of his career.
Crazy, I know, but why the hell not?

I guess the Spurs missed the memo that Brackins is supposed to be playing in Europe next year.

on the other hand, i'm excited for criag to get into the NBA and show what he's got, I think coach pop would be a great fit for him. I want to see craig go to a team that has a fighting chance.
