I have always hated Gregg Doyel

I have always hated Gregg Doyel because he is a quite frankly, a freaking jerk.

I'm not normally one to run to the message board with anything negative written about ISU to rile up the masses, but in his case, I make an exception.

"If you draw Wesley Johnson's name, your chance is his flighty background. Something caused him to screw up and attend Iowa State in the first place. Something caused him to pull up stakes and leave. Wesley Johnson is athletically gifted, able to block shots and rebound and hit step-back 3-pointers. He's almost perfect, but it's that almost that could be his undoing. Something's not quite right with this guy. Is it wrong enough to win you some money? Only one way to find out."

Now I hope you all will join me in hating him too

Anyone else find this disconcerting that we were legitimately his best offer coming out of high school...it was ISU or Louisiana-Monroe.....and i wish this "awesome reporter" did his research on this one.....it'd cause him to stop the diarrhea of his pen....

I think the point is, he was good enough to have better offers, but ended up at Iowa State because he messed up his HS situation. I don't see anything wrong with what Doyel says here. Some of you are just FAR too sensitive.

I might have read it that way if it was from another writer, and it really doesn't bother me. I don't read it that way because Doyel always takes the cheap shot whenever he gets the chance, not just at ISU. He is a bully.

He MF'd some student workers at Hilton on his last visit, too. Real classy.

Gregg Doyel is the biggest *********/*******/POS insult to manhood in all of sports journalism, and there are plenty of those guys in the field as it is.

I would pay money to watch him get hit by a speeding truck.

An hour before tip-off, and he was ****** that someone was inadvertently in HIS seat. Proceeded to curse at them, including the usage of "MF".

Hence, he MF'd them.
