Cyclone #20

In doing a bit of research for another thread I was considering putting up, I came across the official "cyclones by number" list on cyclones.com and found something very interesting. According to that list, no one in the history of Cyclone men's basketball has ever worn the number 20. I'm trying to recall a #20, because that doesn't seem like it would be right, but I can't pull one out of my head. Anyone?

Gary Thompson was the last to wear #20, in 1957. The list you saw only dates back to 1962.

and now I know why that fact grated on me so much.

I knew that the list was wrong, and couldn't remember why. I feel really freaking foolish now, to be honest.

If you're talking about the PDF, the list isn't wrong. It clearly says "since 1962" right at the top.

I think I remember Eli Parker starting out with #20 and after the first game someone pointing out that the number was retired for Gary Thompson and Eli than switched to number 21.
