McKnight made his CCL debut last night
Eric McKnight has been fighting a high ankle sprain over the last few weeks. He made his YMCA CCL debut last night.
8 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
I'll post a complete report later on this morning.

Re: McKnight made his CCL debut last night
Numbers seem to be in line with what he did in high school. He appeared to be a glue guy, that could get some boards, block some shots, and run well. He had a bunch of offers, but I think most of these were off the high ceiling an athletic 6'-9 guy with long arms has. Me thinks we were one of the few offers he had that would play him right away.

We took him from Indiana late...Only one on the current roster with NBA potential. Body has a long way to go though.

Godfrey will have a more immediate impact, but McKnight's ceiling is higher.
I think you guys will like Godfrey...Big and Tough.

I love Ejim's game...IMO, makes a better college player than NBA player. Hope he proves me wrong.

Wow, coach Mac sure did a bang up job building this program. In his 5th year we only would have had one player on the roster (a freshman) who has pro potential? I hate to keep ripping on Mac, but look how far things have fallen.

Im pretty sure he had offers from Maryland and Georgetown too. It may have come down to us and Indiana, but im fairly certain he had other big time offers.

He going to have to work hard, but I wouldn't be shocked one bit if at the very minimum, he's a D-Leaguer. He's raw, but he's got the size, the athleticism and I think he has the right attitude about his future.

Re: McKnight made his CCL debut last night
Whatever McKnight eats each day, he should double it. He is stick thin. I liked a lot of what I saw last night. He can jump and he hustled for at least the first half of the game. He didn't shoot well and even the Cap City people could push him around, but if he can put on any weight at all it will help him.
In a weird way, he kind of reminds me of Doug McDermott. Obviously, not as good of a shooter and probably weaker, but he kind of floats around the lane like Doug does. I can see Eric being a guy who always is wherever the ball is.

So what some are saying
they think he will be a garbage guy and a glue type player?
