They are talking about using the scholarships remaining for a PG(obviously) and anohter perimeter player, yet we still have offers out to a couple of possibly interested bigs from Michigan. Are we expecting some attrition from our current contingent? I do not want to go the Buzz Williams and Mike Anderson route with our recruits, and start cancelling scholies.

I'm sure there will always be some attrition...unfortunately that is the nature of the game these days. However, under Mac is was excessive, so as long as Fred brings it down to a "normal" level then I will be happy.

Also, I wouldn't worry too much about extending extra schollies. This seems to be the way it works. Fred is pretty late to the game recruiting these guys, so his odds of landing them are less. Therefore we need to extend more offers to ensure that we get our 1 or 2. These things tend to work out for the best.

Oh and by the way, Lutz said we're gonna press! It sure sounds like we're gonna see a much more exciting variety of basketball the next few years!!

so will this be a trap press or just pressure them... i loved the way stinson and blalock trapped.. it worked so well!!!

Actually was a very good article on what is going on in Ames for MBB. Now if we could only get coverage like this from the Rag.
