I didn't realize Tim Floyd was a raging alcoholic.

Interesting how the people that are against it have turned it from a gathering area for donors into a glorified dive bar.

Why do people think it is a drinking venue? The article only said it is a "sports bar themed gathering area".

I think this is a very cool idea and can't wait to see it. I'm guessing Johnny is very honored by this. I love the fact that you can walk around and look at different artifacts and memorabilia from his time coaching - IMO, that's much more interesting and exciting than seeing his name on the floor.

The way Walters describes it, it sounds like the memorabilia and everything will be out front where all the fans can see it, not just the donors. The Sports bar is named Johnny's which only the donors can get it, but it sounds like the "shrine" area will be accessible to all.
