I hate british accents lol.
British accents just dont do it for me......AND HELL NO I WONT GO TO IOWA SH*TTY
-Bloody Mary. Best drink known to man. Assuming the person making the bloody mary can properly assemble one.
-Templeton Rye. Love it.
-G&T's. Refreshing and simple.
-Beer: IPA's. I love many, many varieties/brands of IPA, or any hoppy pale ale. Some of my favorites include Sierra Nevada Torpedo, Bell's 2 Hearted and Hopslam, Lagunitas Hop Stoopid, Boulder Beer Co Hazed and Confused, New Belgium Mighty Arrow, and Olde Main Double IPA.
Current Beers: Toss up between Southern Tier Oak Aged Unearthly IPA (aged in Bourbon barrels) and Brooklyn Brewery's Brewmaster's Reserve - Detonation.
Liquor, by category:
When it's hot: Gin and Diet Tonic (seagram's gin is the best bang for the buck)
Easy: Bourbon and Ginger, or Bourbon on the Rocks (preferably Blanton's)
When inspired: Bourbon Manhattan
Fresh IPA- locally brewed and on tap. I had one the other night that was sweet going down and bitter on the aftertaste- awesome.
Bottled: belgian white like hoegarden.
Hard: I likes me some Walker Black-neat.
Beer: Budweiser (none of the light stuff)
Drink: Red Wine or some cheap champagne
1921 Tequila, just had it in Mexico for the first time and will be ordering some bottles for future use.
Same here. Good call on the diet tonic. I always go that route. Helps to offset the calories from all that beer! Southern Tier is a fantastic brewery as well.
I was in Brooklyn for a wedding last fall. Once I got over the complete and utter lack of grass outside of Prospect Park, and that lingering garbage smell, it was pretty cool. We were staying in Park Slope, and there was a great bar that made up for the lack of grass by installing indoor bocce ball.
I love me a good bloody mary, but my favorite on a warm summer afternoon is an icy Tom Collins with a cherry. Excellent flavor.
Also, for beer, I'm really liking Cold Smoke still, from when I was in Montana over the summer.
