last night. I have seen some strange movies many of which have cult status but this one easily beats them all. I believe it is David Lynch's (twin peaks) first film and dates from about 1977. I don't really recommend; it is weird as hell.

You are correct on all accounts.... weird as hell, crazy, freaky, disturbing. Not sure if I enjoyed it, but worth watching for the experience. That baby is freaky! Amazing effects on a shoe-string budget with that baby, heard it was a dead cow fetus but Lynch won't say.
Jesus ****** Vampire Killer. It's a horror/kung fu/musical/action/adventure movie.
Edit: sorry, I read this as you asking what we thought were weird movies. I've never seen Eraserhead, though I often see it on top 25 lists for horror movies.
Yeah, it's an odd movie, but an interesting one. It is Lynch's first movie, and reflected his anxieties about becoming a father.
Don't really watch it expecting a linear narrative or plot, but look for the repeated images that show up and the sound design.
I couldn't make it completely through that movie. So weird...
I think the "baby" was laughing at him later in the movie when the neighbor went home with another man. Found that hilarious.
After watching the trailer and reading a plot summary, I would have to agree that it looks beyond weird.
Can't say I want to take an hour and a half out of my life to watch it, but it does intrigue me.
INK was cool but weird.
No. It is completely open to all weird films as ones others have seen as I would like to know more of them. We are doing the Netflicks thing and having them sent and streamed instantly so cool, I would like to see others.
I am not really a film buff, haven't seen more than 2-3 films in the theater in the last 15 years or so, but I do like certain horror, sci-fi, suspense, and off-the-wall movies. I absolutely hate all new computer generated special effects and movies based around them.
I was curious so I went to youtube and watched a couple of clips. Disturbing and creepy, come to mind. haha
Is he the guy that did "Fire Walk with Me?" or something close to that title? Or also "Moholland Dr?" I watched both when I was younger and it scarred me for life... Fire Walk With Me was crazy with the gateway to hell and the midget that talked backward or whatever... I can't really remember much about it because I was in elementary school when I saw it, but it was truly something someone my age (at the time) shouldn't have watched!
Regardless, whoever comes up with stuff like that has problems...
remember going to see Lynch's "Wild at Heart" while at ISU. Starring Nic Cage.
Wow.
Mulholland Dr. was so weird I just kinda gave up on David Lynch at that point.
