Genetically Modified Salmon

looks like it might get FDA approval. What are everyone's thoughts on this? I'm generally not a big fan of GMOs, but if these are sterile as they say, and they're raised in closed systems, they seem like a good deal.

GMO's are perfectly safe. They go through the most extensive testing in the world with approval needed from the FDA, USDA, and EPA. And before GMO's reach that stage of testing, they go through YEARS of private testing.

People have been eating GMO crops for years (any time you have a soda pop). I have no doubt that the GMO salmon will have similar success. People don't market this stuff unless it works. Company's have nothing to gain by a food scare.

Protein is protein. The frankenfish probably taste okay once you get past the snout.
