Is a pretty good show, I mean yes they are all hicks. But they are funny to watch and all around nice people it seems. Anyone else watch a lot of history channel?

I'm guessing you meant Swamp People and yes History is one of my favorite channels. Pawn Stars, American Pickers, Ax Men, Modern Marvels are just the tip of what I watch regularly on that channel.

Swamp People is the name, good show, just goes to show that there is a way to make a living out there for just about anybody. These guys are nuts.

Great show, great people. Those folks are a bit strange but the ingenuity, intelligence and guts it takes to make a living where and how they do is impressive.

I think it's funny how they use sub titles on this show. Like they speak a different language. Great show though. I am suprised PETA is not freaking out about them killing gators. I actually ate Alligator this year down at Shady Gators in lake of the Ozarks. I thought I would give it a try. i thought it sucked pretty bad. They boiled nuggets and breaded them.

Actually, this is entertsining television compared to other shows on the tube. I liked it when they overloaded their trailer with gators and hope they get to market in time.

I tried Aligator once, I thought it was pretty good. But it could have been the preperation like you said.

History is a weird, weird channel...if it isn't a show about the coming end of the world or alien-ancient human prophecies, it's a show about strange lines of work.

That being said, I still like the channel. I don't watch shows like Swamp People or Ice Road Truckers or anything along those lines, but that's just because I really don't feel like watching. I do like shows like Modern Marvels, or The Universe, or the occasional history related shows.
