I think the format and content of the show was good. Delivery, execution, and flow need work. But that can be developed over time. I kinda like the 3 person format...a little different and one person shouldn't shine or be able to annoy the audience (although I agree with the THEE references...once or twice is fine but not when you are saying that to your guests).
Overall I still think Van Colemans show has been the most polished and radio ready with this show in second. I do think today's show has much more potential though.
The others have been bad...some horrible (I'm looking at you Ron Maly).
Did anyone catch it today? Biggest Hawk homers I've ever heard on DSM radio. Unbearable, and insufferable. If KXNO hires today guys, they're giving Iowa State the bird, plain and simple.
Not only were they pleasuring Herky the entire time but they were urinating on anything that wasn't the Big 10.
I think you need to quit smoking whatever you are smoking and step away for awhile from your pc & radio. The show you claim you heard yesterday and the show that was actually on the radio were two completely different things.
Overall the content was great, the delivery was off a little bit but it was light years ahead of what I have heard since last Monday. I hope these guys or some other local guys are given a chance to display their talents over the people that have already been there and have failed before.
At the end of the day, you keep doing what you are doing. I won't listen. That is the great thing about America, we can choose.
If you are going to offer advice or feedback, at least make it worth my while to read and respond back to than slinging your spew against the wall and seeing what sticks for your next post.
I can't believe how long these auditions are going for.
There is only one worthwhile show on KXNO...that is Murph and Andy. They should just stick with the national talent in the morning.
Tim Fisher...can you look anymore like a doofus?
and a big no to Tim Darrah.
