I have not flown on SWA...but I have used Air Tran quite a bit. I can honestly say that Air Tran easily has been the most positive experiences I have had when flying. I hope this continues under the SWA colors.
I'm just hoping for cheaper flights to Des Moines... MCI and CID are much cheaper, but further from Ames
Are you sure CID is cheaper than DSM? I have lived in CR all my life and just about everyone of my friends and family fly out of MLI or DSM due to the ridiculous rates out of CID! CID really needs a low-fare airline other than Allegiant!

That's good to hear. My wife and I are flying Air Tran into Pittsburgh next weekend. We've never used them before, but they were cheaper than everybody else.

another positive to look at is the direct connections dsm will have to all of swa's current locations for recruiting purposes ... alot of fla and texas locations to chose from
