Muscle Milk is complete junk, waste of money, and a big joke. Optimum Whey is usually considered one of the best. Order it cheap off of www.bodybuilding.com. Also, I would try cruising the forums over there if you have real questions and need answers. Also, if you quit eating meat because of "cruelness to animals" or you are scared of the stuff that is in it, remember what Whey is made of. Also, any meat bought in the USA has nothing harmful in it.
I usually find that a little peanut butter and mixing it with milk instead of water goes a looonnnng ways towards making protein powder taste decent. Also, red beans and rice provides a complete protein but it gets pretty old in a hurry.
Honestly, if you eat fish, I'd just eat more fish.
Add in some beans and that is a fine mean chock full of protein.
Personally I like this. A couple different flavors and ingredients seem to be good with the protein:

I'll probably get disagreed with, but that's okay. Personally, I'm more than happy with the GNC chocolate whey protein. Not overly expensive and it tastes fine to me, but I understand that people have different tastes.
Optimum Nutrition's 100% protein is good if you are using it for strength training. If you just using it to add extra protein to your diet there are probably better alternatives. Whey protein is a very fast digesting protein so it doesn't stick with you for very long. Optimum Nutrition's casein protein is a slow digesting protein which is a better alternative if you're simply looking to replace lost protein in your diet. I have used their vanilla and chocolate, and the chocolate tastes great mixed with milk.
