All American Beer tailgate for NU

We've decided to have an All American Beer Tailgate for the Nebraska game and I need some help from my fellow CF'ers. So far we've decided on:
Schlitz
PBR
Hamms/Hamms golden lager
Grain Belt Premium/light

This issue is, we would prefer tall boys of Schlitz but cannot find them anywhere. I know that they make them but I cannot find them. I'm looking for suggestions of other old school beers and if anyone knows where I can find unique 12 or 24oz tall boys.

I would also like to find the 8pack of 7oz Miller Highlife bottles too.

Schmidt Beer in big mouth style - we called them Big Mouth Schmidties

Any idea where I can actually purchase any of these beers in the Ames/Des Moines area?

I can confirm personally that Cyclone Liquors has all but Hamm's.

They may have it, I just don't look for it. The others are there for sure.

It's also the only place I've found that has GBP in cans.

Interesting. I hate the fact that I can never find Primo in cans.

Hold your tongue! GBP is far from junk.

It's one of the highest rated adjunct lagers on BeerAdvocate.

I didn't say it was all junk. I had my first GBP on RAGBRAI this year and lets just say it was a great night.

I went to Cyclone Liquor last night and didn't see any of these... hmm. I'll have to check again...
