    On a side note, every person in the IAHSAA should be fired. 2-7 making the playoffs? **** participation ribbons. Let the teams who should be there be there and the teams who should be watching watch. Not to mention the 7-2 team play on the road against a 4-5 team. They really screwed the pooch on class A.

    North Iowa and North Butler. I'm sorry, teams under .500 shouldn't have a shot in hell at the playoffs. Not every team over .500 should go. Are there occasionally teams that get left out that could probably make a run? Yeah, but its better to leave a couple out than let everyone in.

    Deny the teams with good records. It should be a cold day in hell before a 2-7 team makes the playoffs.

    Or meet middle ground: Have the 2 and 3 in a district play in to face the 1 of another district. ~2/3 of the teams in class A make the playoffs. 3/4 of the teams in 4A make the playoffs. That's WAY too much.
