sportscenter is airing a ceremony for a couple of medivac soldiers that saved 11 wounded german soldiers on good friday. apparently they flew into a firefight between the germans and taliban after the germans had been ambushed. all 11 were saved but 3 later died from their injuries but its still pretty cool that they are doing this

Veteran's are on most people's minds today. Unfortunately, for many, this is the only day of the year for that. So today, why not challenge yourself to do more. Do something simple, but extra, for a veteran today. Buy them a cup of coffee, take them a hot meal, or just sit down and talk with them. Either way, you're free to do what you want...and you owe that privilege specifically to them.
