Investing in Gold?

It's all the rage. Has it maxed out or will it hit $2,000 over the next year?

when will the Dollar Bottom out? I think thats the question. I admittedly do not know that much about Gold, but Commodities in general will continue to rise to the extent we keep printing Dollars by mere virtue we don't produce that many of them and our dollars simply aren't worth what they once were to the people that do.

It's had a strong run but I wouldn't put new money into it. My prediction is $1,300 ounce on Jan 1 2011. Mark it down.

2 big problems with gold investing:
1) it pays no interest
2) it pays no dividend

historically, gold is not an appropriate investment vehicle for the vast majority of investors
