    Travel Report

    I thought it would be nice to know how the roads are today if anyone is out and about. I'm hoping to get to NW Iowa today from Des Moines if anyone has advice on those roads throughout the day. Hopefully it doesn't get icy.

    I heard this morning that north of Highway 20 would get freezing rain tonight.

    It just started sleeting here (Des Moines) with lightning/thunder.

    Hopefully the roads don't ice up because we were hoping to make it up to the basketball game tonight. I'm sure the crowd will be pretty small with the weather and Thanksgiving tomorrow.

    Sioux City. On monday morning we had a schload of accidents here from the freezing rain. Did you?


    Salt trucks went out too late, but hopefully some of that salt is still around to slow this deal.
