What the he!! does this have to do with General College Sports?

Does anyone else have a neighbor out blowing snow at 6:00 a.m? Do these old people think that the people around might not want to be awakened the first thing in the morning when you could wait a few more hours to clear your drive?

This thread is full of win. And here I was ticked to look out the window this morning to see that the 2" of snow was cleared from my townhouse association. Yeah, that's efficient use of our limited snow-removal budget. At least they didn't wake me up though!

Oh, so you work nights. Well then, we should all probably adhere to your schedule because you work at night. Somebody need to tell the sun not to come up during the day, for you are sleeping and could use less light.

A few things:

I'm more likely to be woken up by the city pushing snow but I'm not going to complain.


During the week I'll blow snow about 5:30am but I us a dual stage that is pretty quiet. My other neighbor has a single stage and it's very loud.

I'm an early riser so it's not a big deal.

My wife does in home day care during the week with the first kiddos being dropped off at 7 am. I have to have the driveway clear or I may risk a lawsuit if someone slips and falls. Damn city of Ames took forever yesterday to think about putting some salt down at it was a skating at noon yet!!
