a little disappointed on the end. the season was building up to have a great ending, but it fell a little flat. I was hoping that Lumen was killed and set Dexter off next season or she stuck around for a little eye candy.
Interesting to see how they play the Quinn angle next season - does he continue to dig into Dexter's past?

I have to think that Lumen will be back at some point, otherwise they wouldve killed her off. I still think this was one of the best seasons.
I think they ended it that way so they did not have to use 3 episodes next year to set everything up like they did this year. This season the first 3 episodes were good however they were pretty much just cleaning up last season.
Next season gets to start pretty fresh and new. Except for Quinn knowing what Dexter is really like. I think next season will be great. I actually really liked this season. I think Quinns done with Dexter until something new happens. Dexter saved his *** and we don't really know what Quinn thinks Dexter is up to. I mean Liddy told him a lot but he never saw the footage or pictures.

The pictures on the boat right? That's fine but what's he going to do with just those? He won't risk Deb to go after him now that Dexter got him off the hook. Deb could find them I suppose, but I just don't see them ending the show next season. Besides that, those photos mean nothing. It would be really easy for Dexter to come up with something for that.
There were a few things that were pretty unbelievable. why did laguerta say the case was closed/Deb solved it when Jordan was "missing"? I always like it when they have cliff hangers. They did just find out they got a 6th season, maybe in case they didn't they left it open?
It was a good finale, I thought (though they kind of skimmed over what happened with Quinn... even though Dexter lied about this blood on the shoe, they'd still want some answers as to why the dead guy was calling him over and over, right up to the point of his death).
If I was Dexter I would have been pretty ****** at Luman though, she stays with him until he gets rid of all of ther tormentors, then the next day decides she can't be with him? Pretty convenient for her.
