Boy falls from plane

apparently, at 16 shouldn't you know not to hide in the wheel well of an airplane? Sad and ridiculously unnecessary death.

It worked out great for Woody and Jessie in Toy Story 2. He even had a ripped stitch.

I wouldn't think that he would have been conscious (if even alive) by the time he fell. The wheel wells of commercial airliners aren't pressurized as far as I know. He would have at the very least passed out when the airliner ascended to altitude. Kind of tough to hang on against a couple hundred mile an hour wind when those doors reopen for landing when you aren't even conscious.

He would have been dead, or near death not even 10-15 minutes into flight. Sometime north of 14K ft. It was a 737 so it probably flew to MA at least above 24K In addition to freezing cold temps, the lack of O's would cause hypoxia and probably several forms of edema. Once that plane hit around 85-90 on the runway, he was done, one way, or another. The really sad thing is he was a member of his schools Air Force ROTC.

Payne Stewart passed that way, and he was inside a partially pressurized cabin.
