    Weird Portrait Stand Ups on I-80

    Has anybody seen these weird portrait stand ups on the south side of I-80 between Ia City and West Branch? There's 3 of them and one of them looks like Will Ferrell, another looks like Christian Bale and the other is some woman who I have no idea about. I'm just wondering if anyone knows what they're for and why in gods' name someone would put these ugly mosaic looking things on their property?

    As the article says, they are Doug Paul's. He has art all over his property. Neat guy.

    Yeah, everytime I drive through IC I notice them and I always think of Will Ferrell. He looks just like him!

    I don't believe for a minute they're not famous people but thanks for the link. This had been bothering me for months but by the time I had reached my destination I had forgotten about it.
