For any of you in the Chicago area, Glencoe Beach near there is absolute paradise. It's like a sliver of a tropical island nation in the Chicago area. It's a real hidden gem as a getaway, my wife and I go there a few times a year to relax.

The scene where they're swimming and then Cameron is laying on that ledge is actually Glencoe Beach not the house, the house is nearby but the film makes it seem like it's part of the house.
