Worst Travel Related Mistake

Saw this on another message board on a travel site and thought I would see what some CF response would be. I'll get it started.

When I was in Australia, I booked hostel beds for myself and 2 friends for the night before we were going to set out on a 3 day hike in the Blue Mountains. I didn't really check the dates and didn't realize I booked it a week early while checking email at a hostel in Melbourne after the initial date when they asked me to rate my stay:huh:. I quickly rebooked beds for the proper night, but was out the AUD$72 for the first night and had to book. One of those life lessons.

I once picked up a tranny hooker in transylvania. Good times.

I went to the Iowa State at Kansas football game in 2005.
