Electronics Recycling - Stereo Equipment
I've got some old stereo stuff that I'm looking to get rid of. We're moving, and the house we bought doesn't have any good place for me to set up the stereo. One of my front speakers is busted and my subwoofer has started buzzing, and the volume knob on my receiver recently stopped working. Not to mention the whole system was new in 1997. My wife is totally against throwing it in the garbage even though we both want to get rid of it, and I can't forsee anyone wanting to buy a used surround sound setup with two questionable speakers and a receiver that doesn't have HDMI.
Any ideas where I can take this stuff in central Iowa?

I haven't used it before, but I've heard good things..

Granted, sounds like your stuff might be a bit big to be shipping to them. But for small electronics, it's a good way to at least get it recycled, if not get a little bit of cash if it's new enough.
