I would think that this bodes well for attracting future big shows to DM.

Wells Fargo Arena receives highest Pollstar ranking in venue history

Wells Fargo Arena received its highest Pollstar ranking in the venue’s history, coming in at #61 internationally and #30 in the United States for the number of tickets sold in 2010. The ranking is based on tickets sold for live entertainment performances (not sporting events) between Jan. 1 and Dec. 30, 2010.

"We’re a player in the entertainment world," Iowa Events Center director of marketing Adam Flack said.

"This ranking gets the arena’s name recognized. It means that people are buying tickets and when promoters see that, it makes it easier to book shows here

Good for WFA. I just wish they'd bring a show in sometime with ticket prices less than my ISU season basketball tickets.
