There, fixed it for ya!
I kid....I kid.
The Mayo deal might be just a touch more important in the grand scheme of things.

Wow, that's an awesome donation. We need all the money and resources we can get to fight cancer...big time props to him
Re: Jacobson Donation to Mayo Clinic.
$100 million? Wow, that's a crapload of money! I couldn't imagine having that much money to give away. Good for him!

Very proud of him and proud that he is an Iowan. If every city in America had a person with his generosity, the world would be a better place.

Well he sure isnt putting it into his business. I luckily got out of there before he shut down the Sioux City location and put a bunch of folks out of work. The donation is a good thing though and it will help people.

If he has $100 million to donate to causes like this, I'm guessing it's because he wasn't making money with that location, and had more profitable places to invest in.
Impressive donation.

The company itself its an absolute mess. One of my biggest peeves was the dysfunction between the leadership and the hatred between locations. Sioux City was profitable, huge clients stored in that warehouse. Ja Co had warehouse in the scummiest of places so its not like the brand new facility we have here was not viable. I do have to laugh though, their main office facility in DM is horrible. The building is terrifying to get lost in, its an old dirty warehouse that feels like it never ends when you walk through. I don't think he has a ton to do with the workings of the company anymore really. Probably close to checking out of his interest I'm sure.
Anyway, this is all beside the point. Sorry. Great for Mayo.

I concur with this. I worked IT there from August-December there last year. There IT department is a mess and I wondered how everything functioned without falling apart. That was the main reason I left, the unorganized mess I had to deal with every day was too much.
