What's the most money you've won on a bet?

With the Super Bowl game comes big money on gambling. So I thought I would throw out the question of what's the most money you've won on a single bet? Whether it be in Vegas, your local casino, buddy, your bookie or whatever? I'll start by saying that I'm a horse gambler and hit a Pick 4 out at Hollywood Park this summer worth $2500 on a $28 ticket.

All I have to do is outweigh my cousin some time in our lives. Pretty sure I'll never collect on that one.

Not really a bet, but I won 11,500 by getting a royal flush on a video poker machine in Reno a few years ago.

I lost $20 to my dad betting on a couple of superbowls. Making money from bets really isn't my style.

I hit a 5 game parlay this year during college football.

i play college basketball hoops pickem each year with my work. i've played 4 years and won each time.

the last year we bumped it up to $5 per entry. boo ya

kind of a cool story with that, i was ahead by 32 the year KU beat memphis. i picked memphis and the guy in last place by far picked kansas. i won the tiebreaker because the game went into overtime or something like that. it was very strange!

Won two g-notes on a 5-teamer last Jan in Vegas. Also won $1500 on ISU/Drake last year...dumbest line ever. I no longer bet though, damn Final Four.

Mine is similar, 12,500 with a straight flush playing Let It Ride at the Stratosphere in Vegas. Royal would have been table max for 50K.

$50 for eating a tablespoon of cinnamon. My buddy said it was biologically impossible for someone to do it. He handed me the $50 bill just sure as **** that he was going to get it back right away. He was not amused when I downed the cinnamon. My brother did it too, so we figured we must have some kind of genetic mutation that allows us to crush cinnamon.

$500 on Penn - Ohio St basketball game. The OSU was bad in hoops and Penn was ok. Penn was favored by a few, my "guy" couldn't believe I wanted that bet. I thought I was the smartest person in the world that day. Penn won by 20.

Once "colored up" at a craps table at the Bellagio in Las Vegas and got yellow chips back (Yellow=$1000 chips). Plus, all the Sam Adams I could drink for free. Needless to say (but, I'll say it anyway) that's not my usual playing routine.

Used to bet $20 on b-ball games and sit in the sportsbook and drink for free all afternoon. Las Vegas got wise to that and they now make you bet $200/game for "a" free drink. Philistines.

Should have won $560 in a March Madness b-ball pool a few years back. Had Kansas to win it all. They made 3 of 46 free throws and lost to Syracuse. A guy's mother won because she liked the color of Syracuse's uniforms so she picked them. **********!
