Just thought this was cool. A friend found it on the library website. Its the marching band back in '53. Really cool video of the band after the jump (other than them playing the mizzou fight song.) http://www.lib.iastate.edu/cfora/gen...=3002&pagemode

The current fight song is at the end, but I believe the University was still the ISC at the time from the formation.

Good to see the look of our stadium hasn't changed in 58 years.

Kind of cool to see them spell out 'ISC' instead of 'ISU' during the fight song.

Guessing Mizzou was the opponent that day.

There are still a few bands that will play the opposing team's fight song during the pregame show as a nod to the guests.
