Survivor-Redemption Island
I thought the first episode was pretty good.
It went pretty much how I expected it to. Big time strategy moves in the first episode so the newbies can try and prove themselves to Rob and Russell. It's a little early for that IMO.

I only watched the last 15 minutes during halftime of the game. It must have been a pretty interesting show because tribal council sure didn't disappoint.

On a side note, I think it would be great to have a FBI profiler on Survivor. I think the only thing that guy profiled was a jelly donut.

Name's Phillip. He'll last for a while as Boston Rob will make him his beeyotch, then dispose of him when he's ready. He just immolated his alliance, and no one else will touch him with a 10' pole.

Good show but I'm getting kinda tired of always seeing the young people vote off the older people. Franchesca seemed pretty cool too and not really that old.

That's because she made the mistake of opening her big trap about Rob. I thought she was the smartest one of her three person alliance although that's not saying much.
SPOILERS OF THE FEB 16TH EPISODE BELOW. DON'T READ FURTHER IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED YET
There were two reasons why trying to blindside Rob on the first day was a terrible idea. 1) You get rid of your best challenge player on the first day after already getting beat in the first challenge and there's a good chance you go into the merge at a significant numbers disadvantage. You don't make power moves against your challenge performers this early. 2) Rob had too many people in his alliance for the plan to work anyway. Just as Rob had to assume since she was looking for the idol she must have found it, she should have assumed Rob might split the votes forcing a tie and a revote which her side would definately lose.
This was definately a move to "make survivor history" rather than to put herself in the best position to win the game. Had the moron not spilled his beans the plan still would have failed, Fran still would have went home, but she wouldn't have the idol.
Also, the two reasons not to vote out Rob on day one don't apply for Russell so he's gonna have to work some serious magic.

Philip is an awesome character. I just can't get over how dense he is. He literally had no clue, none on how to be deceptive.

One of those young gals has tremendous ASSets. They showed a backside of her walking away in her boyshorts.
It was so good it hurt to watch it. My DVR got a workout on that shot.
