So I'm debating if I should head over to the state fair grounds tomorrow to check out their golf sale. All of my clubs are 10 years old and I'm thinking it is time to upgrade. Has anyone been to these in the past and what have you thought of it?
Still thinking about going. Has anyone else had experience with these type of events?
I haven't gone there for a golf only sale, but once I went for one of the "sales" you hear about on the radio and they have everything there. Electronics, clothes, sports stuff. I thought it was really crappy.
They charge you to get in the door and all the cheap stuff they advertise is crappy brands as far as I remember.
I agree with the post about trying to use ebay, or possibly craigslist.
I considered going too, maybe buy some cheap youth clubs for my son. But the commercials are unrelentingly annoying and hard-sell that I'm skeptical. Usually the more aggressive the pitch, the worse the sale.
