Bed Bugs
Alright guys, I have these little bites on me. I just got back from Mexico and I am scared to death that they are bedbugs. The laundry is in full force. I have these bites just from my knee to my ankle. Thare are about a quarter inch in diameter and itch a little but not all the time. I am sort of a hypochondriac so I am hoping I am over reacting but I find it weird that there are none on my feet if they are from sand flea. I guess I also find it weird that there are none on the rest of my body if they are bed bug bites. The only reasonable thing I can think of outside of the bed bugs is that it was some insect I encountered when we went zip lining as I had real shoes along with socks on and was wearing shorts. I just want to be on top of this thing if they are bed bugs because if they are, I am sure some came back with me.
If you have any knowledge help me out please.

Re: Bed Bugs
You are on quarantine. Gas down your luggage away. Take steam showers every three hours to make sure those critters cannot survive. Pray.

Well,,,, if you're really concerned that something may have "hitch-hiked" back with you from Mexico; go down stairs and shut off the water line. Drain your water pipes. Turn off your furnace. Open all your windows. And then shout "Welcome to Northwest Iowa"..........

Re: Bed Bugs
I'd hope they aren't bed bugs. Do you have pets, could they be flees, a allergic reaction to something?
I remember reading or watching something that bed bugs are hard to get rid of. They hide easily. There was also something on it that they can't survive really hot environments. People were closing off their houses and using space heaters to get the temps to 150 def F.
As you read this, know that I do drink at night occasionally. This is one of those nights.

Re: Bed Bugs
I thought the bedbugs were in NYC moving west.

Re: Bed Bugs
You just missed the deep freeze time of Iowa winters. I woulda opened it all up, and shut off the water. Bring it to a steamy -10 degrees and chill with a buddy.
